  1. Hmm – I want to be there too.
    Diwalli festival is about to finish here – haven’t managed to see anything this year but am helping my friend Vimala with her performance at the Seymour Centre this Thursday evening. Only pretend lanterns on the table for us I’m sad to say. Have painted some doilies though for the give away Indian sweets to sit on though.

    1. Charlie, it is so gorgeous here at the moment, I will take lots more pics this week. A workmate of mine – Indian who has been in Thailand for a couple of generations – had a small diwali get together at his house but it was fairly low key. Nothing compared to what’s going to happen this weekend – thousands of sky lanterns and fireworks galore. Can’t wait!
